Masculine style in terms of shapes, colors and prints.
Victor is the name of the new capsule designed by Juan Avellaneda that forms part of the La Garçonnière collection, made in partnership with the textile designer Güell Lamadrid.
La Garçonnière was designed based on a very masculine style in terms of shapes, colours and prints. Avellaneda drew inspiration from those men who have influenced his life, both at a professional and personal level. Among them can be found Yves Saint Laurent, Salvador Dalí, Federico García Lorca, Jacques de Bascher and now, in his new collection, Victor Hugo. In short, men who have followed their intuition and dreams, and who have gone against the current in defending their thoughts and vision of the world.
Victor is inspired in the Chinese lounge in Victor Hugo’s house located in Place des Vosges in Paris, in which a little known facet of the writer comes to light: that of illustrator, as he decorated this room with his own designs and creations. This room and the life of this personality were a source of inspiration to breathe life into this remarkable collection.
